From October 9-11, 2026, The Ramble Festival will return to Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, Md. The imminent festival format has unveiled its initial artist lineup, offering a look at what’s to come at the fifth-anniversary event. According to this season’s first dispatch, Kitchen Dwellers have signed on to deliver two sets of music, including a special billing of Dwellin’ on the Dark Side, a Pink Floyd tribute.
In addition to the aforementioned event centerpiece, musical participants like Ripe, Big Something, and Clay Street Unit have also signed on to take part in the Old Line State gathering. Also included are Sneezy, Diggin Dirt, Bombargo, Kendall Street Company, Armchair Boogie, New Potato Caboose, Squeaky Feet, Bearly Dead, The Sweet Lillies, Big Blitz, Caleb Stine, Naptown Brass Band, and Skyler Cumbia. The event’s artists at large are Bella Rayne, Hayley Jane, and Shawn Eckels.
As part of the festival’s collaborative offering, The Ramble Band will return in 2026 as “The Ramble Band Goes Interstellar.” The one-off, thoroughly curated set will evoke a theme [disclosed at showtime] like last year’s surprise Grateful Dead tribute, which included Dogs in a Pile, Cris Jacobs, and Alex “Gator” Petropolous.
“It’s been extraordinary to watch this community grow over the past five years,” says festival founder and producer Brick Lohr. “It’s exceeded anything we imagined. Not just in size, but in how close-knit and compassionate it’s become. Being part of something bigger than myself, something people genuinely feel, has been one of the greatest joys of my life.”
“People can expect to be surprised,” says Lohr. “We try to create moments that feel shared and unrepeatable… things you can’t quite plan, but you remember.”
As is tradition, The Ramble Festival promotes a free-flowing itinerary, encouraging folks to explore and discover music through secret sets, second-line processions, and a litany of late-night entertainment.
