The great Buddy Guy will turn 90 later this year. To mark the occasion, a special event will take place at Radio City Music Hall on October 1. Buddy’s Got the Blues: A 90th Birthday Concert Celebration will draw together an extraordinary collections of players to pay respects to the musical legend.

The stellar roster of participants includes: Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, Jon Batiste, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Shemekia Copeland, Robert Cray, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, Billy F Gibbons, Ivan Neville, Robert Randolph, Bobby Rush and many others. Steve Jordan will be the music director, and the honoree himself, Mr. Buddy Guy, will also appear.

Guy continues to tour steadily, and introduced himself to new audiences last year with his appearance in Sinners. Tickets for Buddy’s Got the Blues: A 90th Birthday Concert Celebration will go on sale Friday, June 26, at 10 AM ET.
