moe.’s Born to Fly spring tour touched down in the Garden State on Saturday for a performance at Englewood, N.J.’s Bergen Performing Arts Center. Now deep into a non-stop 2026 live itinerary that will keep them busy through the end of the summer, the foundational jam outfit have built up enough momentum that near-nightly live surprises are to be expected. Still, Saturday took that formula further with the introduction of a new cover to their expansive three-and-a-half-decade repertoire, plus a bust-out.

moe. opened their show on Saturday with “White Lightning Turpentine,” the essential from 2014’s No Guts, No Glory. More fan favorites swooped in with “32 Thing” and “Okayalright,” then the band stepped into “In Stride,” the Nate Wilson Group cut that they recorded for their 2025 studio album Circle of Giants, their first studio album featuring Wilson as a permanent member of the group. With “Pill Vacation,” they navigated hazy waves of improvisation that finally crested at a jarring peak, properly reintroducing the 2020 Not Normal b-side with only its third performance to date.

That true rarity wasn’t the only surprise in store for fans at the Bergen PAC, as its last peak finally crashed into the opening chords of “Twilight Zone,” a new cover of Golden Earring’s new wave breakthrough, featuring lead vocals from Jim Loughlin. In the latter half of Saturday’s show, moe. built on a strong start with a sandwiched treatment of “New Hope for the New Year” and “Water,” then closed out the show with a towering outro of “Silver Sun” and a crowd-pleasing “Bat Country” encore.

moe. will return to the stage for two nights at Denver’s Oden Theatre on April 24 and 25, then round out 20 more standalone spring dates before a summer schedule including a co-headline tour with Umphrey’s McGee, the long-awaited return of the moe.down and the new moe.down Underground. Find tickets and more information at moe.org.
