It appears that David Crosby has recorded with Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires, writing via Twitter, “Lucky me ….I’m goin to sing with Jason and Amanda.”
Isbell also posted a photo of himself and Crosby on social media, writing, “Brought a ringer into the studio to sing.”
Previously, Crosby and Isbell collaborated onstage at the 2018 Newport Folk Festival, and the rock legend proclaimed that the 400 Unit frontman is one of the few artists with the ability to “drag country music, kicking and screaming, into this century.”
In another tweet, Crosby also revealed that he’ll be sharing the stage with Isbell once again “this summer in NYC and DC.”
Croz also added, “I flat love his band and, like everybody else, I love Amanda …have to tell you the songs he’s got recorded are going to blow your minds into next week.”
