DMB welcomes PHJB at Jazz Fest 2019

Dave Matthews Band have announced they will be welcoming their friends in Preservation Hall Jazz Band as support for DMB’s upcoming trip to Alpine Valley in Wisconsin as part of the band’s 2019 summer tour leg.

Pres Hall will open for DMB at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI, July 5 and 6.

Fans may expect some cross-band collaborations during the two nights, as the New Orleans staples have guested with Matthews and company multiple times in the past, including just this past weekend at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (watch a video of that performance below). Pres Hall also joined DMB at their hometown concert in Charlottesville, VA, in December. A download of that show’s recording will be available for free for anyone who buys tickets to DMB’s 2019 tour.
