Prog-rock titans Tool have finally announced a release date for their long-awaited follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days.

The yet-to-be-named LP is set to drop on Aug. 30, and Tool recently debuted two new songs off the project (“Descending” and “Invincible”) live in Jacksonville, Fl. at the Welcome to Rockville Festival. The following evening, Tuesday, May 7, at Birmingham, Ala.’s Legacy Arena at the BJCC, the group officially announced the forthcoming album during their setbreak by simply projecting “August 30” on one of the venue’s screens. Tool followed that up with a corresponding post on social media.

See below for videos of “Descending” and “Invincible.”
