I’m On The Right Track is the latest release from the Meters’ founding drummer Joseph ‘Zigaboo’ Modeliste. The disc which will come out on his own label on April 23 features contributions from more than a dozen performers including: Dr. John, Ivan Neville, Bernie Worrell, Bobby Vega, Kai Eckhardt, David Torkanowsky and Kelly ‘Spyboy’ Jones. Modeliste who performs with his New Aahkesstra tonight at theShattuck Down Low Lounge in Berkeley, CA will celebrate the release of I’m On The Right Track with a performance at Tipitina’s French Quarter on April 23.
