Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have expanded its fall itinerary. The East Coast-based Grateful Dead tribute act has tacked on a series of appearances, slated to begin on Thursday, September 24. While the venue and location have not been confirmed, the band has issued a save-the-date ahead of their two-night return to The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York.

After delivering music in the Big Apple, the band has signed on for three additional gigs that will take them to The Sylvee in Madison, Wis., on Thursday, October 1, followed by an evening at The Salt Shed in Chicago on Friday, October 2. Ultimately, the final feature of this stretch of live appearances will account for a concert on Saturday, October 3, at GLC Live at 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Notably, the newly added dates will come after the band takes part in a series of concerts spread throughout the summer months and regionally suited in the South and Northeast before the group’s highly anticipated concerts out West.
