On June 19 and 20, Goose will return to New York’s Madison Square Garden for a pair of headlining gigs. The shows will mark the group’s third and fourth appearances at the World’s Most Famous Arena, following a set at the Soulshine benefit in November 2024 and their own date at the venue last June.
And on June 18, the night before the upcoming MSG stand, The Femme Flock, Nugs and MRG Live will present the Goose MSG Night Zero Community Gathering and Charity Event at New York’s Racket, a nearby venue where Goose themselves taped a WFUV show last year. The evening will be hosted by Nico Suave and feature both a headlining performance by Natalie Brooke and a set billed as the Sarah Elaz Super Jam, led by the bassist and Relix On the Verge subject who plays in Boojum, Bushwick’s Dead and Bearly Dead. In addition, DJ v64 will spin during the night and there will be fundraising giveaways benefiting Conscious Alliance.
Goose are currently in the midst of an extensive European tour. Yesterday at Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany, the group offered some interesting segues, moving from “California Magic” into Father John Misty’s “I’m Writing A Novel” and “Wysteria Lane” into Otis Day & The Knights’ “Shama Lama Ding Dong” during their first set. Their second set was a particularly improv-heavy sequence, consisting of “Big Modern!” into “So Ready” and a standalone “Madhuvan” with “Secret Agent Man” teases. Goose’s European run will conclude at Denmark’s Northside Festival tomorrow.
