Trey Anastasio has shared his seventh new song in self-quarantine, the grungy, reverb-soaked “I Never Left Home.”

Songwriting duties for “I Never Left Home” were fulfilled by Anastasio, Tom Marshall and Scott Herman.

It follows “Lotus,” “The Greater Good,” “I Never Needed You Like This Before,” “When The Words Go Away,” “Lost in the Pack” and “Timeless.”

In other Anastasio-related news, his Ghosts of the Forest bandmate Celisse recently took “I Never Needed You Like This Before” for a spin with a nice solo on her Gibson SG.

“I saw this vid my Ghosts Of The Forest bandmate @treyanastasio playing on Facebook and really dug it. So, I played along!” the guitarist wrote via Instagram.
