Jeff Coffin – best known for his work in the brass section of Dave Matthews Band – will rejoin Béla Fleck And The Flecktones for a very special gig at Red Rocks.

“To say I’m thrilled to be making music with these guys again would be an understatement! One show only!! I hope to see some of you beautiful people at the show,” Coffin wrote via Instagram.

Coffin officially left the Flecktones in 2010, a few years into his tenure as a touring member of DMB, and was replaced by original member Howard Levy. More recently, Coffin jammed with Fleck in 2015, when the banjo player sat in with DMB in Colorado.

Additional performers at Béla Fleck And The Flecktones’ Red Rocks celebration include Jerry Douglas, Abigail Washburn and The Colorado Symphony.
