Ivan Neville has a busy couple of days on the horizon, including multiple performances around New Orleans as the Dumpstaphunk keyboardist’s hometown prepares for the second weekend of this year’s Jazz & Heritage Festival, and to celebrate, Neville will be hosting a series of video shorts that will follow him from gig to gig, in partnership with 30 Amp Circuit, Nugs.net and Relix.

The series, which promises to provide an “exclusive, unfiltered look at a day in the life” of the musician, kicks off this afternoon as Neville gears up for tonight’s performance with Foundation of Funk at The Fillmore New Orleans, then continues tomorrow with Dumpstaphunk’s main-stage afternoon performance at the Jazz Fest fairgrounds. Finally, the online event will culminate at Neville’s intimate, career-celebrating “Piano Sessions – Through the Ages” performance at Le Petit Theater on Thursday evening, featuring special guests like Cyril Neville and members of Dumpstaphunk, where Ivan will be presented with 30 Amp Circuit’s first-ever Songbook Award.

Neville’s unique series will be raising money to benefit the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, which has been aiding musicians in need in the Crescent City since 1988. Fans can donate to the cause here.
