Joel Cummins of Umphrey’s McGee/Digital Tape Machine and Todd Stoops of Kung Fu/RAQ sat in with Conspirator last night during their show at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT. Cummins joined the band during the jam segment of their new song “Dynasty,” while Stoops took the stage with the group—which includes his RAQ bandmate Chris Michetti—for “Loco Strete Devil.” Digital Tape Machine also kicked off the night with an opening set. Stoops lives near New Haven and will reunite for RAQ for a pair of Burlington, VT shows in December.

We recently spoke with Conspirator’s Marc Brownstein about the band’s new, more improvisational direction. You can check out that interview here.
