Onetime Bob Dylan band leader/bass player Rob Stoner has put together a jamband-style tribute to his former boss. Slated to take place at Pawtucket, RI’s The Met on March 8, the Rolling Thunder Revival will feature Stoner, guitarist Scott Murawski (Max Creek, Mike Gordon Band), drummer Bill Carbone (Max Creek), keyboardist Jordan Giangreco (Viral Sound) and guitarist Jeff Martinson (Shakedown). Stoner served as Dylan’s musical director and bassist for Dylan’s legendary Rolling Thunder tours in the mid-1970s. He is also responsible for the arrangements and music from many of those tours.
