While on tour this fall, the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey will search for local horn players to participate in their “Burning Horn Contest.” Local horn players will be offered the chance to submit recordings of themselves playing over the one of the songs featured on JFJO’s new Race Riot Suite. Participants will be able to download a bare, hornless track of the song
“The Burning,” to which they can add their own horn parts. Winner(s) will be given the opportunity to play with JFJO as a special guest when they visit their city. All submissions must be received by no later than October 4th, 2011.
