Photographer Paul LaRaia captures Levon Helm’s Midnight Rambles in a new book from Backbeat. The Levon Helm Midnight Ramble runs over 250 pages and includes commentary from Helm, Larry Campbell and Elvis Costello. LaRaia’s book presents four years of Rambles with both live performance shots, portraits and backstage moments all captured within its pages. in addition, many of the Ramble performers contribute their thoughts on Helm and the event as a whole, such as: Mike Gordon, Dr. John, Clarence Clemons, Max Weinberg and Emmylou Harris.
