On Monday, May 25, artists will align in support of Bernie Sanders’ multi-city freedom-rousing tour, dubbed Fight the Oligarchy, slated to take place at Brick South at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. In line with previous appearances, musical acts have signed on to participate in Sanders mission to mobilize working-class Americans opposition to corporate influence and the billionaire class’ government supremacy.
According to the event’s roster, music will start at 5 p.m. local time, with local indie rock group Weakened Friends taking the opening slot before headliners Adam Gardner of Guster with Pete Kilpatrick & Friends. Sanders’ official website has yet to confirm the artist who will fill the aforementioned “friends.”
Participants in Sanders previous rallies have included Neil Young, Joan Baez and Maggie Rogers [during 2025’s massive LA gathering], in addition to other acts like Built to Spill, Indigo De Souza, Alex G, Calexico, and others.
