The 2009 incarnation of The Dead, which is set to open a tour on April 12 at the Greensboro Coliseum, has just announced three more spring shows. The group will add a second date to its stop in Chicago, so that the Dead will now appear at the All State Arena on May 4 as well as May 5. The group also has confirmed another Shoreline Amphitheater performance, which will take place on May 14, joining a confirmed May 10 date. Finally the band has confirmed that it will appear at The Gorge in Quincy, WA on Saturday, May 16 on a bill with the Allman Brothers Band and the Doobie Brothers. Tickets for the May 4, 14 and 16 shows will go sale this coming Tuesday, February 17.
