It has been nearly eight years since Al Schnier first sat in with RatDog on April 3, 1998 at Philadelphias Electric Factory. Last night at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, Bob Weir invited the moe. guitarist to the stage once again. Schnier appeared for much of the second set, taking the stage for a run that both began and ended with Dark Star, and also included versions of Little Red Rooster and All Along the Watchtower. moe. is off until its appearance at the Jammys while RatDog is in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire tonight at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom (the site of its notable performance on August 9, 1995 followed the passing of Jerry Garcia).
