Guitarist Steve Kimock will perform with The Neptune Band on December 15 at The Tropical Jam Fest at Anahola Taro Patch in Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii. Other acts include Omega Project, Jahfoliba and Sol Fire Dance. Other special guests are also expected. The event will take place between noon and 10 p.m.
In other news, Kimock will play a rare acoustic show with his good friend, Banana (Zero, Steve Kimock & Friends, Youngbloods) on October 30 at Chesters Place, Fayetteville, AR. The following night at the same venue, Kimock and Friends will celebrate Halloween with a line-up that includes Banana, bassist Reed Mathis (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), drummer Jason Smart (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), saxophonist Martin Fierro (Zero, Legion of Mary) and guitarist Steve Pryor.
