Keyboardist Rob Barraco performed with the Zen Tricksters Saturday at The Downtown in Farmingdale, NY. Barraco, who is a former member of the Tricksters, joined the group for Playing in the Band > The Maker > St. Stephen > The Eleven. It was like putting on an old pair of shoes, says guitarist Jeff Mattson. When you’re on the road with one band and your housemate’s on the road with two other bands, you’d be surprised at how little you see of each other. Barraco is currently working with Govt Mule and Phil & Friends.
The Zen Tricksters will play a post-Allman Brothers show tomorrow at Tribeca Blues in New York City. For details, visit www.zentricksters.com.
