The thing I remember most is how much fun Mick, Dan and I had playing all these TR3 gigs this year.

A hardcore band from Houston called Moths. Amazing intensity.

What will you remember most about 2011?
Probably our Conan O’Brien performance. There was so much anticipation leading up to it. We were very anxious and very nervous, being that it was our first television performance, but it went really well, and we had a great time. Conan is hilarious, and we have always been huge fans.

What was your favorite show or tour in 2011?
We played Bonnaroo this summer and had the privilege of seeing Junip for the first time. They were amazing. Jose has an incredible voice, and all of their tones and parts are just perfect. I love that band.
What emerging band should readers watch out for in 2012?
Unknown Mortal Orchestra. We did a tour with them in the spring, and they blew us away every night. Amazing guitar work and vocals. Definitely worth checking out.
What are your New Year’s resolution for 2012?
I never really have New Year’s resolutions, but I should probably drink less, smoke less, and play more basketball.
