Peaches En Randalia #62

“It comes over in a bit of an unwanted wave, but unlike the ocean, the feeling seems to stay.”

That was the opening paragraph of my last column, which, gasp, was sent almost two years ago before the Great Flood of Features of ’11 hit, followed by the Pathetic Drought of ’12 due to various Old Mang issues. That has been organically rectified lately, as I feel ’13 will be a return to form, with a small dash of wisdom, patience, and sane work load.

I love the site, the editors, writers, and photographers; love the Good Doctor, love the work, love the music, and love the musicians that I am fortunate enough to either write about, or speak with, so it comes as a very humbling “ripple in the ocean” of it all when someone acknowledges your little stone of work thrown into that great body of water.

Thank you, Jimmy Herring. This was a well-timed and appreciated comment in our recent feature with the talented axe man.

JH: First of all, I just want to say, I mean, it’s a pleasure to talk to you guys. I really appreciate that you guys even want to talk to me. I feel lucky just to get the opportunity to talk to someone who gives a shit because there’s a lot of people that don’t. [Laughs.] I’m very lucky that you guys even want to call me. I appreciate that.

We appreciate it, too, Jimmy. It’s a pleasure to speak with you.

Ever onwards!
