Burlington, Vt.-based jamband, Strangefolk, has announced the revival of their Garden of Eden Festival. The returning event is set to occur on August 22 and 23, 2025, at Jay Peaks Resort in Jay, Vt. The occasion will mark the ensemble’s first performance together since 2019, during the last Eden Fest, before the event was paused.
Ending a five-year lapse, the return of the Garden of Eden Festival provides eager fans and the group’s following an opportunity to come together and celebrate songs and community. During the occasion, the original ensemble Jon Trafton, Erik Glockler, Reid Genauer, and Luke Smith will draw on their rock, folk, and progressive tendencies over two nights.
The band’s Garden of Eden Festival comeback continues a legacy that extends back to 1996, and the onset of Strangefolk’s festival format, originating in Eden Mills, Vt., for which it is named. Beyond the host’s inclusion, the 2025 edition is billed to include an appearance by Seth Yacavone Band on August 22 and Pink Talking Fish on August 23.
