The Terrapin Roadshow, the traveling concert series honoring the legacy of Phil and Jill Lesh’s iconic San Raphael venue, has added a final stop to the impending summer sequence of live shows. Rounding out the California roster is a newly added date, August 1, at the Truckee Amphitheater in Truckee, Calif.
Nicki Bluhm, Jackie Greene, Jeremy Hoenig, Ross James, Grahame Lesh, Adam MacDougall, and JP McLean will participate in Terrapin Roadshow’s Grand Finale. They will celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead with explorative improvisations and selections from the Great American Songbook.
“This series is a beautiful way to honor the incredible community that grew around the music of the Grateful Dead,” said Grahame Lesh, event co-producer and son of bassist Phil Lesh. “It’s so special to see the spirit of their music passed down, bringing people together in the same way Terrapin Crossroads did for so many years. We can’t wait to see Terrapin Nation again.”
Before the aforementioned closeout, Terrapin Roadshow will arrive at Monte Rio Amphitheater in Monte Rio, Calif., for two back-to-back concerts on May 31 and June 1, featuring Grahame Lesh, Sam Grisman, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Amy Helm, Jason Crosby, Ezra Lipp and special guests.
Another series of shows will arrive on July 18, 19 and 20. Night one will include appearances by Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Sunshine Garcia Becker, Scott Guberman, Sean Nelson, Scott Padden, Jon Chi, Greg Loiacono, and Reed Mathis. The lineup will shift the next night and include Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Jason Crosby, Alex Koford, Scott Law, Brian Rashap, Elliott Peck, and Tim Bluhm.
On July 20, more artists participating in the Terrapin Roadshow, including Allen, Grahame Lesh, Holly Bowling, Eric Krasno, Danny Luehring, Pete Sears, Barry Sless, and Alex Jordan, will perform.
