Billy McFarland, a former inmate within the federal correctional system, is once again attempting to infect the world of event planning with a familiar name: Fyre Festival. While the original Fyre Festival famously failed, McFarland has his eyes set on the event’s sequel, which now has tickets on sale and is slated for the Caribbean at the close of 202.

The official website leaves much to the imagination in terms of concrete logistics or a setlist but hints at exclusive VIP privileges labeled as “Fyre Experiences,” “Fyre Fights,” film viewings, and getaways.

In a video heralding the commencement of ticket sales, McFarland shared, “The journey that has brought us here has been nothing short of surreal, catalyzed by my seven-month odyssey in solitary confinement.” McFarland found himself in solitary after his involvement in a podcast discussing his legal transgressions.

In the audacious video, McFarland said, “This is a big day because, as of right now, Fyre Festival II tickets are officially on sale.” He exclaimed, “This is everything I’ve been working towards. Let’s fucking go.” Despite any details, the disgraced event planner also introduced “The First 100” tier tickets–priced at $499, hinting at future ticket levels potentially reaching up to $7,999. He also boasted about his past collaborations, claiming he worked with a major TV company for a documentary titled After the Fyre and securing a separate deal for a Broadway musical.

Earlier this month, McFarland announced the cancelation of a smaller Fyre event in the Hamptons, citing his desire for a larger-scale his plan, saying 200 people was too small and that “10,000 people on one of the best islands in the world with the best talent in the world,” is what he envisions.
