David Gilmour, Pink Floyd’s fabled guitarist, announced Luck and Strange, his first solo album since 2015’s Rattle That Lock, in April set to release on September 6 via Sony Music. Following the album announcement, on Monday, May 13, Gilmour unveiled a limited run of U.S. tour dates to support the release of his album. This will be Gilmour’s first excursion to U.S. venues in eight years. Today, in response to the high level of demand, the artist unveiled two additional performances on his U.S. run: a third night at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on Halloween (Oct. 31) and a fourth night at Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 9. This announcement follows yesterday’s addition of a third show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Gilmour’s bicoastal U.S. run will begin in Los Angeles with three performances at the famed Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 29-31 before heading to New York for four appearances at the city’s legendary Madison Square Garden on Nov. 4-6 and Nov. 9. While the artist has stated that these dates will be his only American performances this year, he will also deliver a handful of shows in Europe. Gilmour will precede his U.S. shows with a limited European run consisting of six nights at Rome’s Circo Massimo on Sept. 27-29 and Oct. 1-3, and five performances at Royal Albert Hall in London on Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 14-15.

In his press release, Gilmour detailed the lineup for his tour dates: “Guy Pratt, bass and background vocals; Greg Phillinganes, keyboards; Rob Gentry, Keyboards; Adam Betts, drums; Ben Worsley, guitar; Louise Marshall, background vocals; Hattie Webb, background vocals and Charlie Webb, background vocals.”

General on-sale tickets for all shows will be this Friday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Fans can sign up at davidgilmour.com to get first access to tickets, while they last.
