Hot off the heels of two big weekends at Northwest String Summit and Sawtooth Valley Gathering, Fruition has announced they will return to Colorado this fall.
The band–comprised of Jay Cobb Anderson (vocals, lead guitar, harmonica), Kellen Asebroek (vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Mimi Naja (vocals, mandolin, electric & acoustic guitar), Jeff Leonard (bass), Tyler Thompson (drums, banjo)–will be joined by Mama Magnolia at the Belly Up Aspen on Sept. 29, and by Heavy Diamond Ring at the Boulder Theater on Sept. 30, in Aspen and Denver respectively. Their weekend-long return to The Centennial State will come to a close at the Lariat in Buena Vista, Colo., on Oct. 1.
The band will be performing in support of their live album, Live – Vol. 1, which followed up their pre-pandemic album Wild As the Night, Broken At The Break Of Day – recorded in 2019 at the Visual Arts Collective in Boise, Ind. They are also currently writing new material for an upcoming release.
Ahead of their return to Colorado, the band is set for a hometown headlining show at Topaz Farm on Sauvie Island in Portland, Ore. with special guests Rainbow Girls which will be followed by a run down the California coast with Goodnight, Texas which was rescheduled twice; first at the start of the pandemic and again after the band contracted the virus this past January.
