The monochrome pointillism pair Angine de Poitrine has expanded its North American live itinerary with new dates in select regions, due to overwhelming demand and fervent enthusiasm coming off the April release of their second studio LP, Vol. II, the ensemble has sprinkled in five summer shows on top of 10 new November appearances, which trail an already abundant globe-trotting roster.

According to the group’s latest live dispatch, they have added a date for June 26 at Base31 in Picton, Ontario. Later in the season, they’ll perform at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on August 13, as well as in Vancouver, B.C., at the Commodore Ballroom on August 25. The next month, on September 12, they will participate in a festival slot at Levitation in Austin, Texas, and put on a show at The Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C.

The duo’s next batch of live appearances will see them take their panache for stimulating sonic appeal by way of their own brand of instrumental repartee to Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, N.Y., for two nights, November 16 and 17. After turning in time in New York, the run continues on November 19 at Boston’s Royale, followed by an evening at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall the next night.

Angine de Poitrine will turn up in the Southern region of the States next, where they are scheduled to perform at Atlanta’s The Masquerade, before an ensuing event at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on November 27.  The final slate of dates will include a gig at First Avenue in Minneapolis on December 2, ahead of the group’s final sprint on the West Coast.

The band’s schedule concludes with three dates, including December 4 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. They will follow up on December 8 at Oakland’s Fox Theatre ahead of their tour closer, December 11 at Portland, Ore.’s Crystal Ballroom.

Angine de Poitrine is heralded for its creative promise to conjure a sense of sonic hypnotism: tactful riffs, hip-shaken grooves, and dutiful time shifts that have earned the group its current title as mavens of the scene.

The group’s two acclaimed albums, Vol. I and Vol. II is available on CD and vinyl at relix.shop.
