Following up 2017’s H.E.R. and 2019’s I Used to Know Her, R&B breakout star H.E.R. has announced Back of My Mind, a brand new collection, out June 18.

To celebrate, the singer-songwriter-guitarist has shared “We Made It,” a track that proclaims, “It’s been a long ride/ And I just can’t believe/ Can’t believe we made it.”

Fans may recognize H.E.R. from her recent Oscar win for the track “Fight For You” from Judas and the Black Messiah or her 2021 CMT Awards collaboration with Chris Stapleton.

She also made a surprise appearance at D’Angelo’s lauded Verzuz livestream, playing “Best Part” – off her 2017 self-titled compilation – before a version of the The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill classic “Nothing Even Matters.”
