The Black Crowes will be hitting the road this summer, finally embarking on their Shake Your Money Maker reunion tour. The tour was initially scheduled for the summer of 2020, but the dates were pushed due to COVID-19. In addition to the tour announcement, The Black Crowes also announced that longtime bassist Sven Pipien will rejoin the band for the tour.
The nearly-40 date tour will kick off on July 20 and 21 at the Ascend Amphitheatre in Nashville, Tenn. It wraps up on Sept. 25 at Bethel Woods in Bethel, N.Y. In between, the band will make stops at Blossom Amphitheatre in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (Aug. 4); Chicago’s Hollywood Casino and Amphitheatre (Aug. 7), The Forum in Los Angeles on Aug. 19 and a two-night run at Red Rocks on Aug. 29-30.
The band announced that all tickets for the previously announced 2020 dates will be honored for the corresponding 2021 shows.
“The Shake Your Money Maker Tour is officially on and we can’t wait to see you all soon. If you already have tickets, they will remain valid,” wrote the band on Facebook.

May 17, 2021 at 1:31 pmThis isn’t out there yet, but rumor has it that the opening bands are Magpie Salute and As The Crow Flies, and Steve Gorman is sitting in with both! Pretty cool!

May 17, 2021 at 2:36 pmIt says right on the poster that the opening act for the tour is Dirty Honey.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it as whatever you got in there now is doing you no favors.
