This weekend The Black Crowes concluded their Shake Your Money Maker tour in Las Vegas with a two-night run. The Black Crowes had been consistently performing from June through September of 2021 and performed dozens upon dozens of shows to herald the 30th-anniversary of their debut album Shake Your Money Maker properly into the limelight.

The Vegas shows were announced back in early September. Originally the tour was set to take place in 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The performances followed the formula for The Black Crowes’ tour that so many enjoyed throughout the past year. Each night featured Shake Your Money Maker in its entirety along with a few special offerings sprinkled throughout along with a unique encore. On the first evening, the crows busted out “Charming Mess” which had not been played in 21 years, and appears on the 30th-anniversary release of Shake Your Money Maker [Rich Robinson spoke about the song earlier this year in a Relix feature]. Saturday’s show ended with a cover of Reverend Charlie Jackson’s  “God’s Got It.”
