Leftover Salmon have announced a July 4 celebration dubbed ‘Red & White, Blue Suede Shoes.’ The band will perform at The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, Colo. on July 2, 3 and 4. The shows will be held at the hotel’s outdoor lawn area.
“Our buddy Jed is building a new neighborhood (in town) centered around boating, biking, skiing, good food and live music in a sweet little corner of Buena Vista, Colorado and we will be having us a ding dang festival right in the town square,” said Salmon’s Vince Herman in a statement. “There’s a great hotel right there on the square so get a room and get ready to festivate on the July 4th weekend.”
“If you could dream up the perfect post-Covid 4th of July party, you couldn’t do it better than this,” added Andy Thorn. “We’ll be at the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, reuniting with our community over music, roaring river sounds and those epic Collegiate Peak sunsets. Add the luxurious lodge and the fantastic restaurant, and you’ve got a perfect holiday weekend! Come celebrate with us!”
“I can’t tell you how ready I am for a dance party, it has been way too long,” said Jed Selby, owner of The Surf Hotel. “Having this legendary band play in Buena Vista is always an amazing treat. I’m stoked for this 3 day run!”
Tejon Street Corner Thieves (July 2), Tara Rose and the Real Deal (July 3) and Wood Belly (July 4) will play support sets during the event, with a special DeadPhish Orchestra set coming after Leftover Salmon.
