The Hold Steady have announced a virtual edition of The Weekender, the band’s annual multi-show event for fans in the United Kingdom and European Union. While the shows traditionally take place at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London, this year, like with their Massive Nights livestreams, The Hold Steady is going virtual.

The band will stream two shows from New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl on March 5 and 6. The shows will begin at 8 p.m. GMT (3 p.m. ET) to optimize ease of viewing for UK and EU viewers. Fans can purchase single-show tickets or two-night packages. In addition, according to a press release, “fans purchasing show tickets will be able to buy additional tickets for an exclusive Soundcheck event, set for Saturday, March 6.”

According to the press release, “The Weekender will see The Hold Steady performing two completely different sets featuring classic tracks, fan favorites, and new songs from their upcoming album Open Door Policy.”
