Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Reed Mathis, Scott Rager and Danny Eisenberg make up The Paul Simon Bone Diggers, a Bay Area-based jam collective that perform interpretations of Paul Simon’s music. This coming Friday, Jan. 8, the band will air their Aug. 27, 2019 performance at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colo.

The show, which took place during the band’s very first run of shows outside California, featured guests Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band) and Jeff Franca (Thievery Corporation), who joined the band for the entire run of shows. (They were also later joined by James Casey, also of TAB).

According to a press release, “the Vail show was dedicated to Neal Casal, whose sudden death just one day earlier shook up the band, all of whom individually counted Neal as a friend. Many memories were shared backstage that night. Thus, Bone Diggers would like to present this show as a $6.99 stream with all proceeds benefiting Backline, a nonprofit that connects musicians, crews and their families with mental health services that might not be available to them otherwise.
