Bob Dylan and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats have confirmed a tour together for this summer. These shows will mark The Night Sweats’ only shows of the year. (Rateliff is currently touring in support of his new solo record, And Its Still Alright.)
“We planned to take a year off from Night Sweats shows but the opportunity came to do a tour with Bob Dylan and there was no way we would pass that up,” said Rateliff in a press release. Rateliff and The Night Sweats will play a full hour-long set before Dylan and his band take the stage.
The tour will begin on June 4 in Bend, Ore. at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre, and it concludes on July 12 in Bethel Woods, N.Y. at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Other tour highlights include a two-night stand at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, Calif. on June 13 and 14, a performance at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center on June 20 and a visit to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on July 2.
Tickets go on sale March 13 at 11 a.m. ET. For more information, head to bobdylan.com.

March 9, 2020 at 11:12 amOldchella And Bob Dylan Discussions. 09/20/16. 9:10am
Howard said he was watching the Oldchella concert. Robin said it had another name. Howard said Bob Dylan is going to play. He asked Fred what’s going on with that guy. Fred said he hasn’t been relevant since 1975.
Gary came in and said he’s going to the concert for all three nights. He said he has no expectations for Dylan. Howard said he has the original ”All Along the Watchtower.” Howard played a newer version where you can’t understand what Dylan is singing. Gary said he knows some guys went and said you can’t even understand what he’s singing. Howard played another early Dylan song and said this is what it sounds like in 2016. You can’t even understand what he’s singing and it’s not the same tune.
Howard said that gives him hope that he could be a rock star. Gary said Dylan does that and everyone goes ”what the fuck is that?” He said some of the tickets to the show are like $200,000. He said they have the Stones there and then Neil Young. He said then it’s McCartney. Howard said the rumor is that every band is getting $7 million per night. Gary said he’s not sure that Dylan is getting anywhere near that. Howard played a Dylan song and had everyone guess what song it was. They knew it was ”Like a Rolling Stone” but it barely sounded like it.
Howard played another Dylan song and asked Gary to guess what it was. Gary didn’t know at first but he figured it out eventually.

March 9, 2020 at 8:20 pmi’ve been following Dylan since’94, all different structures…i don’t rely on howard stern, if you are a Dylan fan, no let downs. if u want to hear the greatest hits, go play the albums or find a tribute artist.

March 9, 2020 at 10:55 amNever go to a live Bob Dylan concert. Love his songs but you won’t recognize them live. Been burned 3 times. Howard Stern discussed and had a contest playing clips a few years back.
You have been warned!!!
