To stoke excitement for his upcoming LP Traditional Techniques, Pavement co-founder Stephen Malkmus recently offered an intimate version of album cut “Brainwashed” for the European video series La Blogothèque.

According to a press release, Malkmus’ new album is “centered around the songwriter’s 12-string acoustic guitar, and informed by a half-century of folk-rock reference points.” This aesthetic is reflected by the laid back vibe of the Parisian café he entertains for the video.

Malkmus also added another leg to his tour in support of Traditional Techniques, which you can check out below.
