Galactic have confirmed their Halloween plans. The veteran New Orleans band will head to the West Coast for three shows, making stops at Davis, CA’s Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts on October 29 and San Francisco’s The Fillmore on October 30 and 31. 18-year-old, Mendocino, CA–based guitarist Bella Rayne will open October 29 and 30 while Loveland, OH-bred instrumental organ trio Parlor Greens will support on Halloween proper.

“No tricks. Just treats  We’re heading west for three nights of Halloween funk,” the band posted. “Whether you’re dressed to the nines or just ready to party, we’ll see you on the dance floor! “

The three shows round out Galactic’s current October offerings. Their other October dates include a hometown appearance at New Orleans’ NOLA Funk Fest featuring Jelly Joseph and two special guests from Widespread Panic, Jojo Herman and Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz, on October 16 and a trip to Greenfield, NH’s Otter Fest on October 17.  

The group wrapped up a string of shows at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on June 28, where they welcomed Robert Randolph; the sacred-steel guitarist had been a fixture at the venue while the Knicks were in the NBA finals and the Bowl was hosting a series of watch parties. Galactic will appear next at Harbor Springs, MI’s Blissfest on Saturday, July 11.
