The Disco Biscuits have changed the location of this weekend’s scheduled show in Massachusetts. The Philadelphia-bred group were slated to perform at Hyannis, MA’s Cape Cod Melody Tent on Sunday, July 12. The show has now been moved to Pembroke, MA’s Soundcheck Studios about an hour away.
A note from the band explains, “Hey everyone, after much consideration, we have decided that the best option for this coming Sunday would be to play at the Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, MA. Tickets to the Melody Tent show will be automatically refunded and tickets to the Pembroke show are now on sale here. We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we really wanted to make sure there was a show for all of our most loyal fans who had travel plans out to the Cape this weekend. We hope to see you all there!”
The Biscuits first performed at the 2,300-capacity Cape Cod Melody Tent, a theater-in-the-round venue, last summer. This will be their first appearance at the 600-person Soundcheck Studios. The group recently returned to Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center for the first time in almost 25 years with Goose and bassist Marc Brownstein sat in with the evening’s headliners.
The group will offer a Tractorbeam set at Portland, ME’s Live at Madrid’s this Thursday, July 9, kicking off a New England run.
