On Feb. 2 after the Super Bowl, members of Dawes were joined by Grahame Lesh for a short set at the bar at Terrapin Crossroads. Frontman Taylor Goldsmith, guitarist Trevor Menear and drummer Griffin Goldsmith made up the band along with Grahame Lesh on bass.

The show began with “He’s Gone,” followed by a take on Bob Dylan’s “You Gotta Serve Somebody.” “I’ll Take A Melody” by Allen Toussaint came next, followed by the Dawes’ original “If You Let Me Be Your Anchor.”

After the Dawes cut, Phil Lesh took the stage to play bass as Grahame moved to guitar. The remainder of the set consisted of Grateful Dead covers, beginning with “Jack Straw.” Next came “Bertha,” then “Shakedown Street.” The last song to feature the elder Lesh on bass was “Deal.” After he left the stage, the band closed the show with “New Speedway Boogie.”
