In honor of their 50th anniversary, The Allman Brothers will release a massive box set entitled Trouble No More: 50th Anniversary Collection.

Available on Feb. 28, the 10-LP or 5-CD box set (which will also be released digitally) includes 61 tracks, among them Allmans classics, live performances and rarities. The box set marks the release of seven previously-unheard tracks, including the band’s very first demo of “Trouble No More” from 1969.

This recording of “Trouble No More” opens the collection; fittingly, the box set closes with the band’s performance of “Trouble No More” from their final show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Oct. 28, 2014.

Trouble No More is arranged chronologically and thematically, and it represents all 13 lineups of The Allman Brothers Band. The box set will include recordings that took place during both Jimmy Herring’s and Jack Pearson’s tenures in the band.

In addition to the music, the vinyl release of Trouble No More also includes a 56-page book, while the CD release will include an 88-page booklet. Each physical version features a 9000-word essay on the band’s history by John Lynskey (an Allman Brothers Band historian, who, along with Bill Levenson and Kirk West, produced the box set), as well as unreleased photos and a recap of each Allman Brothers lineup.

This box set comes on the heels of the announcement of another Allman Brothers 50th anniversary celebration: the surviving members – billed as The Brothers – will reunite for a show at Madison Square Garden on March 10. For more information on that show, click here.

The band has already made the original 1969 demo version of “Trouble No More” available to stream; to do so, click here. Watch the box set trailer released by the band below!
