Aqueous are taking inspiration from some of their favorite movie soundtracks for their two-night New Year’s run, opting to pull from the ’70s for “Almost Dazed and Confused” and the ’80s for “Fast Times at The BreAQfast Club.”
All four films are hailed for their killer soundtracks and a couple are award-winning. Almost Famous won the 2001 Grammy for Best Soundtrack to a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media, whereas The Breakfast Club‘s theme “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Aqueous will set up shop in their hometown of Buffalo, NY for the two night outing and tickets are still available.
The band also recently released their first-ever music video for “Burn It Down,” the title track off their most recent EP.
