The String Cheese Incident pulled no punches for their Thursday-night set at Electric Forest.
The band shocked fans both old and new by performing a 75-minute “Rosie” on the smaller Jubilee stage, weaving in a “Jubilee Jam,” but never straying far from the original composition.
It makes sense that SCI would play such an ambitious set at Electric Forest; they’ve been the headliner and creative force behind the Michigan event since its inception in 2011 (previously, it had been known as the Rothbury Festival).
This year, they’re set to perform twice more on the festival’s ranch stage, on both Friday and Saturday night.
Electric Forest continues through this weekend.
