The Motet want to soundtrack your next dance party with their extended version of “Supernova.”
The original track appears on the band’s 2019 Death or Devotion, but the new mix adds an extra disco element, sure to get your toe tapping.
“I grew up listening to early 80s 12-inch remixes of funk, soul and dance music,” keyboardist Joey Porter said via press release. “I loved the trippy reggae-like production they used. We used this as inspiration for the ‘Supernova (Extended Dance Remix).’ Not only extending the tune but making it something new.”
The Motet are set to perform their fifth annual Red Rocks gig on July 12, co-headlining with Galactic and support from Moon Hooch.
