Former Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore will host a run of shows at New York’s The Stone from December 4-8. Moore will perform with five different ensembles, showcasing his vast interests in the rock, improvisation and noise spaces. Of note, Moore will present his White Out project on December 6 and appear with the venue’s founder, John Zorn, on December 8. Moore has played The Stone around New Year’s many times, though this year the venue will stay dark on December 16-January 2. (The Stone relocated to the New School earlier this year.)

Moore will perform at San Francisco’s The Chapel on September 19.
