Back in March, Widespread Panic performed at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. The show was the first-ever joint SXSW showcase and Austin City Limits taping, with a bill that also featured Preservation Hall Jazz Band and The New Mastersounds. Panic has just announced that its episode of the PBS Series will debut on October 15. Austin City Limits is currently in reruns with a 1983 Roy Orbison performance airing this week (to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Orbison’s birth) and an encore from The National and Band of Horses to follow next week.
