Umphrey’s and Kral play “Baba” at last year’s Summercamp

Back on January 23, Cornmeal opened for Umphrey’s McGee at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. On that evening at end of Umphrey’s first set, the band brought out Cornmeal’s Allie Kral for a cover of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” (as they had done at Summer Camp 2009). Kral contributed violin to the song’s final passage, which Dave Arbus delivers on The Who’s 1971 studio album Who’s Next. Last evening, in Rochester, NY at Party In The Park, Cornmeal once again provided support for UM and Kral stepped out at the close of set one for “Baba O’Riley.”

It’s on to All Good today for both bands.
