Gov’t Mule shared the stage with a number of guests for the second night in a row. While performing at Ventura, CA’s Majestic Ventura Theatre, the group brought out Dickey Betts’ son Duane for a set-closing version of “Soulshine.” The younger Betts is one of three guitarists in the current incarnation of Dickey’s Great Southern.

Later in the night, Warren Haynes and company invited out Reeve and Zane Carney of the evening’s opening act Carney for a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep.” Gov’t Mule and Carney will perform at San Francisco’s The Warfield this evening and Saturday night. Jackie Greene is expected to sit in with the Mule both nights.
