The Grateful Garcia Gathering has already confirmed a number of performers for its 2008 festivities. The annual event will take place at Thornville, OHs Legend Valley from July 31-August 2, featuring performances by Grateful Dead family members Melvin Seals & JGB, Jackie Greene, Donna Jean and the Tricksters, New Riders of the Purple Sage, BoomBox, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix and Moonalice, which draws together Barry Sless, G.E. Smith and Petes Sears. As previously reported, the current incarnation of JGB also features longtime Jerry Garcia Band drummer David Kemper.
