Gent Treadly will commemorate the one year anniversary of guitarist Mike Jaimes’ passing with a free show this evening at Flannery’s in NYC. Jaimes, who performed with the band Native before joining Gent Treadly a few years ago, also was a longtime Wetlands bartender. Appearing on guitar with Gent Treadly this evening and for the foreseeable future, will be David Berg. Gent Treadly founder Greg Koerner met Berg when they both put in a stint with the Dark Star Orchestra and has announced that he will reactivate Gent Treadly after a year’s hiatus due to his connection with Berg. After tonight’s performance, Gent Treadly will next appear on November 4 at the Mexicali Blues Cafe in Teaneck, NJ.
